Being the Only Driver

It sucks when a 6km 15 minute drive home often turns into 12km and 20-25 minutes.  Unless I’m speeding like a maniac.  Just because someone lives out my way doesn’t necessarily mean they’re on my route.  Anyone willing to pay for my $2200 car insurance bill?  Didn’t think so.  But really, I’d rather not become the assumed driver again.

Independence should not be gained by circumstances such as moving out of the country.  One needs to be willing to actually change and learn these things on their own despite being provided the luxuries of living at home.
