Wow, that was a quick reply! Thank you so much.

Soon after reading this article I found a few websites with some sample patterns that I'm gonna need to try out in secret.

About the Aida fabric...Is that evenweave or that other one?

Thankfully I live right by a Micheal's. My girlfriend frequently visits there since she's a bit of a craftster herself. I only hope that she doesn't use stumbleupon and accidently sees this. lol.

Hey Jack,
Glad you like them! The frames are 2.5 inches by 3 inches (the image part) and I bought them at a craft store called Michael's (though I'm sure stock varies from store to store). The Aida fabric was 18-count to get the final product to be that size. I can try to post up the pattern sometime over the weekend if you like. Check back in a couple days.

tastethehappy, those cross stitches would be awesome for my girlfriend. I bought her some of those Mii Valentine's chocolates and this would defiantly keep the video game theme going for her gift. I'm gonna try to learn how to cross stitch now. I hope you don't mind me stealing your idea. : / That is, if I can even figure out how to pull it off. I swear I'll tell her you were the one who thought of it!

How big are those frames, btw?

Thanks, guys!
Dan, I worked on them for a few hours in the evenings/nights, so probably 2 or 3 days to complete one. My biggest problem I think is finding the correct frames, haha.
